We are enjoying getting aquainted with our new friends and starting a new school year for ourselves. Summer is over and Fall is officially here. I love what each season brings for us. It is always special, and brings in lots of new fun crafts and learning experiences. Yesturday we went on our fun nature hike and found some awesome items to make our collage with. Now hanging on our wall by the science center. We will be talking about the leaves changing colors and falling from the branches,
Along with the squirals and nuts we are sharing this week.  A good holliday season ahead. I am so excited and looking forward to Holloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hot Choco, warm blankets and snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. And yes when Spring arrives I will be ready!!

Calender Time

This morning we started out on a nature hike. We picket up items and made a collage. It was alot of fun collecting pine cones, needles, leaves, rock and branches.

After our nature hike we helped Ms. Kathy unload a bunch of groceries. We had a lot of good muscle work.

And then some hide and seek tag. Big Garfield was a big item to hide behind., I think Skyler was the tagger here.

Some rest time on the swing, Michelle found some pretty flowers to pick.

Ms. Amber was helping with calender and songs this morning. Amber is a big helper in between classes at North Ark.

Some Side Walk Chalk is so much fun to draw with outside., What a pretty day outside for all this wonderful play.

Today in the reading area I found a Bumble Bee a Giraffe and a Zebra, I'm so glad they took the time out to read a book in the reading center.

THE LUCKY BUNCH !!!!!!
These guys LOVE the new day care rule. If you are 4 yrs old or older our rest time is 30 minutes of quite time on our mats. Then we are filling the rest of rest time with quite play like puzzles, coloring, baking cookies, and games. If they find that they want to just rest or sleep this is their choise. Wow this week they keep saying "Ms Sheryll your the bestest" How sweet!!!. Tanner was explaining to them at the breakfast table this morning that sometimes your body needs to recharge to get entergy. So sometimes we need to rest. How cute was that....Like the entergizer bunny!

This is our new pet in our classroom. A miniture hampster. We chose to call him Hammie. We are going to find him a friend soon, but started out today with just one. We had alot of fun getting his cage ready and letting him run in it. He has to go upstairs for his food and water and was having fun playing in both as soon as he found it. We had alot of fun with Hammie today.
Brayden had the honors of releasing Hammie into his cage today. Hammie hung on to the orange ball with his toes so we did have a little trouble getting him in at first. So cute......
Now all settled in Hammie is having fun exploring his new home... Tanner and Brayden will be the ones with the chore of making sure Hammie has food and water daily. So we will all have the responsibility of reminding them. So Much Fun With Our New School Mate....
Our last visit to the library for some new stories, Kara took the time to sit with Killian my grandbaby and she read him a book. Amazing how small the babies are and how interrested they are in books. I love it.... Goofing in the reading area at home Micheal likes hanging out playing with his feet...What a way to spend some time.. just chillin.
Practicing with scissors is so much fun, they are just cutting away and having a good time of it. Good hand motor skills are being practiced here.
