Lots of learning activities to put into action, as we have alot of fun things to do. Tomorrow will be Mrs. Betty from Boone County Library coming to read stories to us, and share some of her library books with the children, she will be here at 9:30. Because this has been such a short week along with last week, we have been getting ready for all the craft activities for the Holidays, now we get to look forward to getting back on pace with some of our curriculum learning material. Thank you all for all of your participation with the party. It was alot of fun. We will be getting back to posting on a regular basis next week. Hope you all have a wonderful New Years Eve, lets all be safe and have fun bringing in 2010. I will be open on Thursday New Year Eve, but will be closed on Friday New Years Day.

Not a lot going on today, its been a small crew pretty much all week. Demi and Eva came back to visit. Eliana and Dallas busy with play dough while Keeton is staying intertained by them. Below Kade had a desire to make every one Christmas Dinner, now isnt that nice. Good job Kade.

Dallas, Jaxon and Skylar has been very creative with the building blocks.Today we all listened to Christmas songs as we played and enjoyed each other. The little kids with their big hearts, so excited with the holliday season, Jaxon sounded a little worried this morning about his Christmas presents, he said he wasnt being good at home. I'ts so cute to hear the kids talk about their little concerns, I let him know that if he truely was trying to be good, that would surely be good enough!!. He just smiled real big.

Thank you all for the wonderful blessing of having the oppertunity to know you and your families, I wish you all happiness, and a very merry Christmas.

This is my son Cheyenne and his baby boy, his baby was born on December 16th at 1:30 in the morning. Cheyenne and his wife Erin got to bring baby Killian Logan Ireland home today. They will be staying with me until after Christmas, and then will  return to their home in Stillwater Oklahoma. It is over joyous, I can't describe what this little guy means to me. Thank you for all being patient this week, I have been in and out of school. But with the wonderful help I have, I knew there would not be any problems. Little Killian is so sweet and adorable.

Pizza party after all the Santa stuff, Skyler says "Ms Sheryll this is my favorite kind of pizza." his little expression was adorable. Sorry Julie and Ben if I could have washed his little face before the picture, but it just would't have felt like the special moment. We listened to the story about winter friends and Twas The Night Before Christmas, my favorite Christmas Story.

Santa coming by and  the kids all getting to sit on his lap and tell Santa what they would like for Christmas. Always will leave lasting memories. The kids got to unwrap and play some with their new toys. I thank the parents that were able to come, and those that could not I'm sure you would have loved to. This little Christmas bulb is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Clara and Sofie's little finger prints make the most awesomeness snow men. A activity I'm most definitely going to do for next year. Kristen, thank you so much it's beautiful.

Of course Ms Kathy being Santa's helper finishes passing out candy canes to all the boys, good or bad...hmmm, Ryan?  Now Jaxon he has no worries look at his confidence. And little Sofie's  first Christmas.

Now as Santa is fixing to leave my camera catches him at the door. When arriving I realized my chip in the camera was full. Weird how something always happens when you try to get the perfect shot then miss it.                                                          As he journeys onward to his next stop Santa jingled his bells, letting everyone feel the Christmas Spirit. "Whatever!. "hehe.  What a fruit basket, I hope that doesn't cause me to get coal in my stocking.

Exchanging gifts, has been a fun tradition to keep. The kids had such a good time, no one was upset for not getting to take their own gift they brought and was willing to exchange to get a new one. First time this has happened. Kade thought it was pretty cool.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house. Perfect Christmas story, it has always been one of my favorites. It was one of the books read today, along with winter friends. Reading stories is always good transition time, one of my favorites quite things to do. And yes these sweet little ones are quite too. If not its because they have something interesting to add to it.

We did some awesome baking, decorating, and eating cookies today, thoroughly   enjoyed it. Look at all their hard work. You all have a wonderful and safe weekend. See you on Monday!!!.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, I Found a way to put old bulletin board to use, They had a blast making Ms Sheryll A Christmas Tree. Using up old bows from many years back. They had a lot of fun decorating me!!! Ya, I made it through pretty good, I had a good time too.

Baking Cookies

What a awesome day to bake cookies, cold outside warm inside, Friday!! getting ready for the weekend. And it always makes the house smell good. Keeton got a bit happy there watching the rest of the kids getting  their hands in cookie dough. His rag he is holding is cleaning up from his cheeto mess. May be thats why he's so happy? Kason and Danica are busy here mixing our first batch of sugar cookies, we made four batches today, and will decorate them after rest time.

I will have to apologize again, our reader has came down with something, so we don’t want her to come and contaminate us. So they had to listen to ms Sheryll read today. And then they happily took over and looked at some library books on their own. yippy!. Hopefully ms Patricia will feel better next week.

During music today, we just felt the need to wear our reindeer antlers. We were singing extremely loud at one point, and really shaking those antlers so they would jingle, Prometheus just had to pop his head in the door to see, probably looking for those real silly reindeer! We even felt the need to prance like reindeer, hehe, I had to delete that picture of myself.

We worked more on our wreths, with little Madison looking on at all the excitement. Finishing up doing our chains and putting the last ones on the tree.
We had so much to get done today, we got started right away. Busy even before breakfast, it was another gooie moment and we loved it. I asked them to glue their chains, holding their little links and count to ten, so it would hold. Jaxon counting away, he got past ten a few times, just more practice " go Jaxon go"

We had some awesome long chains, so beautiful short ones, and some that just was perfect in their own little way.
