 Our study on Rainbows, rain,
wind and sunny days, has us
making a weather mobile.

While others were decorating pretty Easter eggs
out of colored dyed cotton balls.
A little messy but fun. The children are
so proud of their art work
especially when they got to hang it
up on their walls by themselves.

Beautiful
Easter Eggs!!!

OK so the funnest thing ever.
Learning about the butterfly life cycle

We have several caterpillars eating away
at their food so they can get nice and full.
Then they are suppose to hang from the lid
and form into their cocoon

We had a fun time forming a cocoon around Peyton

And just like the beautiful butterfly that
we know he is, he broke loose of
that cocoon and showed up his beautiful wings. !!!

As we have been talking with the kids about weather,
wind, clouds, and rainbows, we have chosen
to put up rainbow color balloons.
Of couirse with a few Easter stickers attached!
The kids love seeing them brighten up the room.

Along  with seeing the wind blow
ones out hanging in the tree

Declan, Brayden, Ashton, Brooklyn and Chandler
playing Duck Duck Goose.
Declan is new to school here, he is adjusting really good.
Making new friends and having fun.
Brayden, Ashton and Brooklyn have all been
enrolled in ABC last year, and all attend Kindergarten now.
Its spring break so they are visiting.
We are glad to get to spend time with them some more.
Chandler will get to go to kinderg

I have started trying to down load some learning activities on the Ipad and so far we have found some good ones. Some for learning letters, sounds, and counting. Fun things that make learning fun. Even easy enough that little Bryan gets his turn.
Its been a good week even though others are out of school for spring break.

IPad is awesome!!!

Kara is getting to sub for Kathy on Wednesday, she is having a nice time
playing with our baby Gavin.

Kara enjoyed playing games with some of the bigger kids.
She was so glad to be working in preschool
instead of her day off from Big Cedar!! haha.

She is my sweet baby girl, Kara was just starting Kindergarten
when I first opened up the preschool.
She is now a beautiful young lady, married and working.
Her husband will be leaving for the Navy in June
and I know that when possible Kara will join him
I will miss her terribly. But good times now! So we must enjoy!!!

Brayden, who has visited us this week due to spring break, is blowing the dandelions
that they found in the yard. Make a wish first says Peyton,

Ashlynn and Caleb was so interested in the beautiful flowers and weeds growing in the yard. They enjoyed picking them. They had such a good time. It was like finding treasures.

Beautiful little Ashlynn, and the big boys found a tree. Now normally we  don't climb trees. But on Monday when the weather was so yuk, we just had to take a break and run outside for a few minutes, when some found flowers to pick other found the tree very interesting. It was fun  and yes ms sheryll was standing right beside them, letting them have a blast of a good time.

Rainbows

I have been searching Pinterest lately and have
came across some really awesome stuff
to help with our play time and curriculum.
This one with the milk carton ball toss is fabulous!!!

Making a hit!!!

Ms Betty was here today reading
stories, she visits every Wednesday
a volunteer from the Boone Co. Library.
She loves our children here.

Projects making and learning about Rainbows!

Using gum drops as a start off for knowing our
colors of the rainbow. They were good to eat too.
As Chandler puts it the red is hot, so Peyton tells the
kids don't eat the red ones because they have Cinnamon in them.
Smart little guy :)

Playing by herself with a group of dinosaur friends.

Spring Projects

We started out at the end of last week
teaching some of our little guys about plants
flowers and the parts of flowers
It turned out so interesting that we continued on
with it this week. The little guys had so much fun
getting to go outside and plant a flower to take home.

Bryan and Logan

Ashlynn and Caleb

Our discussion in the preschool room about eating healthy
foods got a lot of us telling stories on ourselves about
some foods that we eat that are not the healthiest.

Were trying out some awesome granola bars
that Logan's grandmother sent, Yum...

It is a little hard to see but there are big bubbles
floating in the air, and some long
arms trying to pop them...lots of fun in the sun.

Better view of the bubbles. Declan is
taking some swings at them.

Lots of boys!!! OH MY!

It was so beautiful outside today
we decided to take our lunch outdoors.
We got to talking about the aunts that love
to pray upon picnics, good we didn't see
any at ours.

This is some pictures that we
colored that showed some healthy food choices.,

Now with the Leprechaun's running around
this week looking for all the clovers to munch on
we were able to capture a look at what we
want our Little guys to look like.l
SWEET!!!

Along with a variety of other subjects we will
be learning about this month, one subject matter
will be the rainbow and the weather.
Spring time is here and the little guys
need to learn some things about it.
We have so many fun projects to do.
