This is a matching game we played, they took the colored jelly beans and matched them to the card of the same color, then got to enjoy eating them later. Yippee they were good.

If you have not heard yet. My son Derek and his wife gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on Saturday. No pictures to show yet, but my daughter April and her three girls came from Oklahoma City for the big event. To the left is Scotlyn, to the right is Lillian. Bottom picture is Scotlyn, my younger daughter Kara, and Ireland. Its been a fun week and a busy one at that. They are leaving tomorrow. We will miss them.

They got caught......Lots of hand washing before lunch as all ways but this was a lot of extra DIRT!!!!

Sunshine and smiles boy how they go together outside when we get to
get out side on a beautiful day like today. Kade and Jaxon are enjoying
playing together. Others are having a blast, I was wondering what was capturing their attention so attentively, well I snuck up on them and sure enough just what I kinda thought, DIRT...DIRT.....Yuk...
After some great game playing and matching inside, we got to spread our wings and play out side. Kason, Lauren and Danica all sit munching on their matching game pieces of jelly beans. On the hummer the girls are driving safely and their little passengers waiting patiently for their destination. Now how much more happier could those little hearts get at this moment. I asked them where are they driving to? But no exact location, just driving. What a nice day to do that in. I dream of a nice car ride, but my dreams our through the big red woods in Organ, or Yosemite National Park. Gosh wouldn't that be a wonderful adventure.
Here these two awesome brothers
are even sharing the teeter totter.

We have had a average of seven to eight kids each day this week. A little music time, story time, and dancing is what we were up to this week. We did watch one movie that Danica brought to school called the Princes and the Frog. They enjoyed watching it very much.
Some warm days and some rainy days. A lot of MUD outside kept us from being out so much. We hope to be back on a regular schedule Monday. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Spring Break 2010

What a week, with so many children out for Spring Break I guess Kathy and myself took advantage of it and let the few kids we had play, play and play. No work this week. Here is a picture of some outside play right before the week started. Picking yellow dandelions was the BOMB this day. They loved picking them off the play yard.

Lauren having a great time playing with some new games that Tanner and his mother donated to us.
Laurens little friends below enjoyed playing as well.
Kason, and the bear from Shoney's.

Hunting for a Leprechaun

St. Patricks Day

Here is all of ABC's little leprechauns. They are
adorable.

Hunting for a Leprechaun, we searched and searched but did not find one. Maybe next year!!!!!!!!!!

 I spied a little leprechaun
Outside upon the lawn.
I hurried out to catch him
for I knew he'd sure be gone.
I tiptoed very quietly
Sprang toward him with a swoop.
He shook his fist and disappeared.
all but this pile of poop................

Tanner, Brayden, and Kason had some fun playing a new game that Tanner had donated to ABC. They were having a blast with it.

St. Patricks Day Activities

Don't forget to wear GREEN

We have been working on our songs this week representing St. Patrick's Day. The words to the songs were sent home today, so you can enjoy singing them with your kids. We have talked a little bit about leprechauns and the meaning behind the celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Had some fun with thinking of trying to catch one of those little guys.
We experimented this week on what two colors mixed together make the color green. And made some green water. They loved getting to make green water out of the blue and yellow food coloring. We made a leprechaun, and got to paint a shamrock. I would be down loading some pictures but my camera is not wanting to download the pictures on the computer for some odd reason, maybe a short in the wire? I will keep trying, but know that I don't want to mess with this every time. So i will be out buying a new camera this week end I hope.
Lets all remember to wear Green tomorrow! we will try and do a group picture of all of our little leprechauns!
