Lots of Birthdays the last few days!

Also the balloons and gifts from Ms Sheryll.
We love birthday celebrations. I hope everyone likes the new colors in day care. Kara has been so helpful, she wanted to redecorate and I left it up to her, she chose the colors and window dressings. Things are purking up, and im getting excited with the cooler weather coming. It sure is alot easier playing ourside with the little ones. Thank you every one for all your support in getting the new fall year started.
Peyton celebrated his birthday today, he just turned 3, we also celebrated Eliana's birthday today, she had a birthday Saturday and turned 4 years old. It was alot of fun and the cupcakes were delicious, yum... Thank you Tiffany for supplying the Vanilla and Chocolate cup cakes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADE!!!!!!

Monday was Kades birthday and he turned 4! We had colorful yummy cupcakes, a happy birthday ballon, and kade recieved birthdays gifts from the staff at ABC. I hope you had a wonderful birthday and the best wishes from everyone at preschool!!

Also on monday the bigger kids did some finger paintings of balloons and made balloon heads as well. The balloon heads were kinda hard to make because we had to be really careful not to pop them. Although most of the kids had poped their balloons before they finished Peyton, Brayden, Tanner, and Michelle finished their balloon heads without poping them! Good Job to all the kids you did wonderful on your paintings and Peyton, Brayden, Tanner, and Michelle you did AMAZING at decorating your balloons!!!!! :)

Today Keeton did a wonderful job showing us his talent!!! What a gorgeous painting. Today we did easel paintings. Read the story "I'm Big Enough" it was about a bunny that found it hard to give up her blankie, now just to let you all know I dont blame the little ones still holding on to theirs, I still have a favorite blankie myself. But the bunnie hid her blankie and forgot where she hid it. Till months later and found a little fox took it over. But that did make her happy that the baby fox had it now. The other story was "Best Friends", we talked about how important it was to be nice to each other and have friends. Circle Time we had a song and dance, we did  "The Hockey Pokey".  We talked about crunchy foods like carrots, celery and apples. And with it being our Apple Theme for a few more days, Monday we will be baking a APPLE PIE !! Yummy...
Kade has a birthday Monday, he will be turning  4 yrs old. We will have a party for Kade, with cupcakes and a big balloon. Happy Birthday Kade!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Thank You All So Much

I knew that today was going to be a very fun and productive day, and I was right. Me and the kids all are so excited about the new school year starting. After breakfast we shared circle time. We talked about how the "big kids" were all starting school. And how they were "big kids" because they were starting school as well. We have so many fun activities planned for school year. I hope you all had time to read the Handbook!!! We have 6 children that will be starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2011. We have so many things to get busy learning. We talked about how we would like to go eat lunch with a kindergarten class sometime this year. That would be a special treat. We will be having the fire truck back out this year. They will be responding soon with a date to come to ABC. Our activities today included Sharing time: Discussing what we do at school and how we will be kind and sharing. Art: we used a apple to paint with. Our Theme Activity: Sing a song, "If You're Happy". Our Theme for the next few days will be Apples. ( Typical right! ) haha. The picture of Kara and Killian sharing in grocery shopping for our food this week.

This is a activity we got from the library. It is a video teaching how animals walk. Today we walked like a brown bear. And crawled like a alligator. We had a blast!.

Our 4 year olds got to be outside with me to wait for the school bus...
They were so excited to see what may be their rides to school next year.

Here are five out of six of our kids that will be spending the fall getting ready for Kindergarten next year. From left to Right. Eliana, Kade, Brooklyn, Brayden, Skyler, and we missed Tanner today, but he spent the day with his dad on his day off. We will see you tomorrow Tanner. We missed you today!!!.
