Nice Day Outside

This is Keira and yesterday was her second day at school. Keira is so friendly and loves everyone. She loves playing with dishes and her girlfriends her age. We are so proud to have Keira here at ABC.

It has been a while sense we have had a set of girls all about the same age. They are so adorable Raelynn, Grace, Keira and Madison. All about 2 years old.

Raelynn and Madison having fun with the mailbox. We had some good inside play today as well as outside and practicing for our five year old graduation which is Thursday.

Some chalk drawing some chalk on the ground, some on the faces, and some all over the clothes but it was alot of fun. Here's some pictures of the kids having a great time out doors.

Just before the storm

We took the opportunity to get out this morning before the big storm. We had such a good time playing outside, it was so nice. The kids had fun and when the sky started getting a little darker we knew we didn't have a lot of time left and when that first little rain drop fell we all took off for the house. Nice hot lunch made things really nice before resting. Here are a  few pictures of the last 3 days, Kathy and Amber have been such troopers this week. I have had to help with a project at the church, from the last flooding we had. Thank goodness it is all done and I can get back to my projects here. Remember tomorrow at Crawdad Days we are having a booth promoting ABC hopefully we wont get flooded out. And next week we will be celebrating our graduates. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, thank you for the opportunity to spend time with your children and that we can have fun throughout each and every week playing learning and getting to know our friends.
Our little graduaters making sure everything fits, from left is Brayden, Brendon, Tanner and Brooklyn, Alauna is absent today.

Up Coming Events:

This Saturday May 21st, at the park during Crawdad Days, We will be having a booth there promoting our preschool. There will be bubbles, balloons, and educational information for parents to look at and have. If you know of anyone that is needing childcare and would like to get more information please make him or her aware of our booth at Crawdad Days. Also come by the booth with the kids so we can give them all a big hugs. It’s always nice for the kids to know that Ms. Sheryll and Ms. Kathy exist outside of the classroom.

May 26th we will be honoring each of our children for the great year they have had here at ABC and we will be acknowledging the five children that are beginning their transition to their K-12 childhood years. We will have a celebration party at school, and then a private ceremony for these five children’s family that same evening at 5:30. Each of the five children’s families may invite any family or friends they would like. Pictures will be taken of the children with their caps and gowns on. And will be made available to families. All caps and gowns will need to be returned to Ms. Sheryll so we will have them for next year. The tassels and certificates are for the children to keep.

On Monday, May 30th, we will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Out on the playground today Brooklyn decides to put all the boys in time out, she said they all needed to learn how to get married. I think this has something to do with her daddy getting married last weekend. In her sassy voice Brooklyn yells out "DO YOU           UNDERSTAND  Tesli her little assistant decides to help, they had all the boys stand at attention and they tried real hard to be little bossy girls, of course that didn't last long at all. Till they all ran off playing boy stuff!

Brooklyn was able to be one of the flower girls in her dad's wedding along with her new sisters Bailey, Maleah and Madison.

Little Lamb

This is Izaak, Ms. Kathy's son and he is holding on to little lamb the day it was born on Mother's Day. Izaak is so excited about the new addition to his farm animals.

Mothers Day Weekend

My oldest daughter April and her three children came to visit during the weekend. For mother's day we decided to take the kids and go to Silver Dollar City, Oh boy, its been a few years and I forgot how steep those roads are. We had a really good time even though we did a workout for the week in one day. I would like to share some pictures. I love sharing pictures

This is April and her daughters Scotlynn, Lillian, and Ireland. We are on the trolley taking us in the park at Silver Dollar City.

Joining us is my youngest daughter Kara and her husband Brandon. I'm a scaredy-cat to ride the rollar coasters so Brandon and Kara came to ride with the pre teens.

Of course Scotlynn and Micheal needed us there to push them around all those hills all day. Micheal is Brandon's baby brother. Doesn't that look like a fun ride. I would have loved it so much...

Riding the Merry-Go-Round is a must, even Ms. Sheryll rode but we wont post that pic...hahaha

Scotlynn wouldnt mind being in every picture, she loves her picture to be taken.....
Swings, what a day to remember, those bigger kids are probably on that big rollar coaster about now...wow.
Choo Choo, Chugga Chugga Chug Chug....and we almost got robbed.
Time to cool off and one of their favorite places to play, it was so much fun.

Getting ready for the big wet ride.
OK, so I think I got the wettest. It all come down my back and it was sooo cold. FUN!
A little ICE CREAM
Then the ride back to the cars, my thoughts were now I have to finish it all off by walking to the car at the furtherest parking spot in the lot we parked in....OK I was wore out.; It was a wonderful day! Would I do it again soon, I hope not...Happy Mother's Day to you all, and I hope you had a wonderful day with your children and families.

Baby Lamb

We got to see, feel and love a little baby lamb at school. He is only one day old and needed help because his mommy did not have enough milk so he had to be bottle fed every three hours. He came from Ms. Kathy's farm. Ms Kathy has lots of fun animals at her house.

Madison doesnt have any problem with petting little lamb. All the kids loved getting to see him.

Raelynn had fun watching from her car.
Ms. Kathy has lots of chickens and she just finished hatching a big bunch of little baby chickens a few weeks back. It would have been fun to watch but the incubator would have been to hard to transport.

Planting Love

Today we repotted our flowers that were not doing so good, but hopefully they will do better now that they are in bigger pots. So today we planted "Love" love should help these little flowers grow better. It was a messy job, yes it was and we did find a few small worms! yuk but we handled that really well. Everyone fighting over who was going to get to pick them up. :)  Oh yes we did some hand washing after that!!!

Ms. Betty from Friends From The Library comes every Wednesday morning bringing some chosen books from the Boone County Library to read to our kids. She does this voluntarily with the Library and Bragg's all the time about how wonderful it is that she gets to come and read to our children. She said that they are the best behaved children to read for. Ms. Betty loves reading and we love it that she shares her time with us and taking the time out of her week to do this. Each time she walks in she walks in with a smile and singing to us. The kids love her and look forward to her coming.
