I knew that today was going to be a very fun and productive day, and I was right. Me and the kids all are so excited about the new school year starting. After breakfast we shared circle time. We talked about how the "big kids" were all starting school. And how they were "big kids" because they were starting school as well. We have so many fun activities planned for school year. I hope you all had time to read the Handbook!!! We have 6 children that will be starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2011. We have so many things to get busy learning. We talked about how we would like to go eat lunch with a kindergarten class sometime this year. That would be a special treat. We will be having the fire truck back out this year. They will be responding soon with a date to come to ABC. Our activities today included Sharing time: Discussing what we do at school and how we will be kind and sharing. Art: we used a apple to paint with. Our Theme Activity: Sing a song, "If You're Happy". Our Theme for the next few days will be Apples. ( Typical right! ) haha. This is a activity we got from the library. It is a video teaching how animals walk. Today we walked like a brown bear. And crawled like a alligator. We had a blast!.

Our 4 year olds got to be outside with me to wait for the school bus...
They were so excited to see what may be their rides to school next year.
