Harrison Early Childhood Services

Today we had a visit from Trish Lockridge, Lynn Chandler, & Melodee Owens. They provide the following services at no charge to us or the parents.

Communication Skills
Fine / Gross Motor skills
Behavioral / social skills
Cognitive / Readiness skills
Self-Help skills
Vision or Hearing

If you feel like your child is in need of some help in any of these areas this is a wonderful program that can really help. They will do a screening with your permission and will come to work with your child one on one each week. We have had the opportunity to have these wonderful ladies here before and look forward to helping any child that needs a little more attention to accomplish their goals of growing and learning.

Forms are available here at preschool just ask Sheryll or Kathy for it.

They will be starting Kindergarten on the 15th. So with Brayden leaving for a vacation first (Yay) Florida will surely be a blast. We will celebrate every one's farewell party tomorrow with Pizza for snack. Thank you and I will surely miss each and every child moving forward.

I am So EXCITED that Brayden has learned how to tie shoe laces, He gives credit to his dad.
Awesome Rick! He has been helping out today with those kids laces that just wont stay tied.

So small but yet so growing

Here is our little precious angels, they are so learning how to play, share and work together. Our little Grace, Madison and Raelynn will continue on learning and playing here this fall. Where as we have some bigger older kids that will be leaving us to head off to big boy or big girl school. Kindergarten is my curse because I have to say goodbye to some sweet faces I have had the privilege to spend years with before leaving me. That will probably be my next sobbing blog...We will be having several opening for when school starts, if any one you  may know someone that needs child care Please send them my way!

Party, cakes and gallstones oh my.

It all started two Sunday's ago, I ended up at the emergency room to find that I was alling of gal stones, dont know if any of you have ever suffered from gal stones, it is not a fun experience. I Had never ever before had such a thing. So I had to call my daughter April (she is a almost expert on health issues) So Dr. April gathered her little ones and headed to Arkansas to help her ailing mother. She is so sweet, she gathered the necessary items for removal and landed here late Thursday Evening. So I had to drink one cup of grapefruit juice filled with Epsom salt three times that evening with one dose having olive oil in it. Yuk I drank it down supper fast to keep from smelling this awful conglomeration of stuff. The nest morning was two more episodes of the horrid drink. But I think it worked, I have a apt with a surgeon on the 10th for a follow up to see what to do next. But with all of this going on we had my granddaughter's 13th birthday party here on Friday night as April was helping me finish a large cake for Kathy's daughters sweet 16 was celebrated as a Quinceanera. Saturday was filled with another nephews birthday swim party, delivering the CAKE and totally collapsing Saturday evening. My biggest and best est helper ever had to leave on Monday to got back to OKC. I miss her terribly. Here are some pics of my weekend. Sorry I haven't posted last week I was just trying to survive those stupid gal stones.
