Wow I did not realize that I missed posting on Monday. Sorry about that because I'm trying hard to get this done daily. Rest time gets very busy sometimes for me.


I would like to communicate with my parents through this blog. It will help if you can check the blog as often as possible for up dates. Because of the cold weather now on us every day, it is necessary that each child bring with them daily a coat, a hat, and a pair of gloves. We do have to spend some time outside each day as long as weather conditions allow this.

Our theme this week is colors. Tuesday was the color red, we had slices red apples after painting using the color red.

Today is the color green. During Sharing Time we discussed things we can paint green. Then during Circle time we named all kinds of foods that are green. Our art project was painting with green. Yesterday we played color chairs like musical chairs. A color was posted on the backs of the chairs. After the music stopped the one left standing would get to guess the color of the chair and the color posted behind the chair along with the shape on the card. It was fun, when everyone got done participating they were able to chose something from the treasure box. Here are some pictures of yesterdays and today’s events.
