Harrison Daily Times

Above was are picture in the Harrison Daily Times, Friends of the Library salute National Library Week. Preschool reading program: Librarian volunteers visit 15 preschools in Harrison and Boone Co. monthly to read aloud to students and hopefully kindle their interest in learning to read. More then 500 books have been acquired for the program.
Outreach librarian Carol Moran along with Mrs. Betty Hayes chose ABC Preschool as their number one choice to photograph and put it in the paper due to the fact that they are so impressed at how well our children behave, and are
so interested in the reading event.

Game time for the afternoon. Things outside were a little messed up as you all could see. But the tree trimming was important as well.

These girls were having a blast at dress up, and what was so adorable was when they were trying to fix each others hair. I missed the good shots as usual because I had to run to get the camera, when getting back for the shot they were off doing something else.

Gardening

Fun time with gluing and putting together our bulletin board. We will be working this week and next on things that fly, blow in the wind, and gardening. We will be planting a tree on April 22, to celebrate Earth Day.

We love glue, all over our fingers. Well some of us do......... Jaxon does, and Elijah doesn't mind either.

I know a wonderful lady that does Family Child Care in Siloam Springs, AR. She stays so busy with child care organizations and meetings galore, always helping other people, along with her and her husband performing musical concerts for adults and children. She has been a big help to me, teaching me and giving me new ideas for how to make a much more quality business. She has introduced me to some wonderful material that I am trying to get incorporated into my own day care. Debbie is also wanting to help me and show me the ropes of becoming quality approved and ABC ( Arkansas Better Chance) approved, to be the best that I can be. She is so wonderful. It has been a long process and I have just barely gotten started. I hope my parents will be patient with me because with doing child care and with some major issues I have gone through with my personal family I have not gotten as far on my quest for becoming Quality as fast as I wanted to. I was looking at Debbie's Blog and she was sharing some other Blogs she came across I would like to share them with you.

They have so much fun  picking  the dandelions that they can find on the playground, which is a lot of fun, I love watching the kids find the dandelions and make their little wishes as they blow the seeds of the stems. As the wind blew so beautifully allowing the streamers to dance in the wind was a playful event for the kids today.

A little climbing and tumbling completed the egg hunt. Great way to get the ol exercise in.
This morning has been a perfect day for hunting eggs, climbing and playing out side, now with a little rest at nap, I'm sure they are going to want to get right back at it. Our Egg Hunt went so good. The younger ones had theirs out front and the older kids in the play yard. They are very quick we had 60 eggs for each hunt. Plus afterwords we added are colored eggs in our buckets. So..... Much.....Fun....!!

Brooklyn and Tanner had no problems at all finding those hidden Easter eggs.

More tumbling, I got to see some really good tumbles.

The Little guys on the left are looking at all their goods......
