Elmo Visited Today

Elmo's visit this morning was fun, but few wanted to get their pictures with Elmo
A little stage fright and I can't blame them,
Elmo was very tall and red
Elmo is suppose to be like 3 feet tall right?
This Elmo was very nice, he didn't talk but loved to dance and shake
hands with the kids.

Elmo looks as though he has a little stage fright going on himself lol.

Yah! Elmo is getting in the grove with dancing

Grace is having a good ole time

Kathy and Emma with Elmo

Madison and Elmo

Raelyn and Elmo

Aiden and Thomas giving the pose for the camera

Ugh! and Me, with the babies Emma and Killian.

Elmo, your ginormous!!! So I better hang onto Emma and Killian.

Although the morning with Elmo went pretty smooth
it did take a little bit of time to warm up to some of these little guys. And who can blame them? Is Elmo suppose to be taller then they are?

Hello GERM"S

Although we have talked many times of hand washing and germs this one got their attention
We read a book about hand washing and why we do it.
We wash them after playing out side
We wash them after playing with animals
We wash them after going to the potty
We wash them after sneezing and coughing.

WHY!

To get rid of these guys ! GERMIES !

It grossed me out for a minute but not these guys, they wanted
to play with the germs afterwards.

Brendon and Brooklyn were interested in the potato heads.

for a rest.

This is Aiden's animal he doesn't have a name for him yet.
Lots of critters to build with play dough.

Popsicles were calling right after rest time today. So we found the shade outside and
got started. Nice way to cool off for a few minutes outside.

Monday Heat Wave

Ok so this is the third time I have had to re download pictures and retype for this one blog. Maybe I was just trying to put to much in it for one day. But back on track I hope. This is Aiden and his sister Emma. They are joining us here at ABC for a short bit. They are not from Arkansas but are visiting their grandparents for a little bit. We are sure going to enjoy them coming to play with us here. Aiden and Emma have already made friends with every child here.

Aiden is six years old and his little sister Emma is two year old.

Aiden and Ashton are posing for the camera. These two have hit it off real well. Best buds today
on the playground.

Now what is going on here?
I'm sneaking up on you!

Oh so that's what your up too. I have no idea
but it is the big thing now!!!

Along with lots of power coming from somewhere.
And I didn't mean from smelly dirty socks! Yuk...

Awww power behind all those muscles. Wow guys good job!

Little Emma rocking on the silly horse that you cant see from this view. haha

Today with it being so extremely hot outside, we planted our behindouses inside
to play games and have a lot of fun, and that we did.

Quack Quack

Peyton checking out the alphabet

Everyone just went from one game or activity to another.
So peaceful and everyone got along so good.
What a awesome Monday!

Aiden and Dylan monkeying around with the Jumping Monkey Game.

Hagen and Nate working with their letters. What other things

Freaky Friday

Crazy Friday!! This little critter is letting it loose. Just how I feel when it gets closer to 5 on Fridays,
Wow, I wonder is this good or bad?
"thinking"
Ok it must be good!

In the fall of 1995 I bought this house
specifically to start a business doing
day care. My first week I was able to enroll five children.
I was nervious because I actually had no idea what to do
and the only thing I had to offer these beautiful children was love.
And that I did, and you know what, after 15 yrs I believe
that is all these beautiful smart little rascals want is
just your love.

Look at these sweet beautiful little children
Learning fun stuff, interacting with each other,
making friends and learning to believe in themselves.

These boys love playing with each other, they are growing learning and having
the experience of sharing, understanding and building their confidence in this world
right here in day care / preschool.

Home made blocks are big and fun.

Ashton is really focus on his painting, good job Ashton. Brooklynn is working in her summer bridge program book. The kids love doing paper and we are getting started back on some of this.
