Today we have had quite a learning experience during our circle time. We have been talking a lot about our 5 senses, today we elaborated on sight. We talked about how some people could not see, I shared with them of my grandmother that was unable to see. She was blind for about 40 years. She did most everything for herself. Cooking cleaning and normal activities at home. We played a game where we covered our eyes with one hand and the person sitting next to us would bring a item for us to feel and try to guess what it was. We had such a good time playing this game. We sang the song "this old man" using our fingers for number play and did a activity with numbers and adding numbers and subtracting. We have really smart kids. Heading in now from this beautiful weather outside to eat grilled cheese sandwiches yum!
